In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.*

TEDx events have been hosted on the Dartmouth campus in 2010, 2011 and 2014 respectively. Traditionally, they’ve featured a wide-range of speakers, musical performers, and pre-recorded TED Talks drawing from an incredibly diverse pool of Dartmouth Alumni, Professors and Students. The goal of TEDxDartmouth 2016 is to do much of the same. By drawing on the incredible resources available to members of the Dartmouth community, TEDxDartmouth 2016 will aim to bring together a pool of speakers who have found success in many different fields and by many different metrics.
We are proud to announce that TEDxDartmouth will be returning to campus January 14th, 2017 in Spaulding Auditorium. Check back in here for more information on the event as we put it together.
TEDxDartmouth 2017 is still very much in the works. If you wish to get involved with any aspect of the event as an organizer, speaker, sponsor or performer, send an email to TEDx@Dartmouth.edu
